Captain Shawn Wilder Fairbanks is a third generation captain, and son of the late Captain J.R Fairbanks . Shawn was raised by his father catching bluegill in diapers to giant Tarpon on Fly. Now with over 20 years of fishing experience in South Florida, Shawn has now been maintaining SaltH2o a steady guide business for over 5 years targeting inshore game fish aboard his 18 ½ foot Maverick Master Angler. Captain Fairbanks specializes in targeting Snook, Tarpon, Redfish, Trout, Permit, and Cobia. Shawn has also been an instructor for the IGFA (International Gamefish Association) for 5 years at the School of Sportfishing with numerous Boat Show appearances all over the state.
